Michelle Avanti (born Madelyne Hernandez) was born on April 19, 1980 in Visalia, California, USA as Madelyne Hernandez. She is an actress. In 2009 she left the porn industry, and shortly after that she became associated with The Pink Cross Foundation, an organization founded by former porn star Shelley Lubben to help performers in the porn business who wanted to leave it. In 2011, however, she gave an interview to journalist Michael Whiteacre in which she said that, contrary to Lubben's claims, she had already left the industry by the time she joined Lubben's organization and that she was not "rescued" by her. She further claimed that Lubben used her to raise money and never gave her any of the help she promised, and was using drugs and alcohol while claiming to donors of her foundation that she was sober. Lubben has disputed those claims.
